This is the first of a series of guest posts introducing some of the Crafters that are selling their work in our Gift Shop.
We’re talking Fine Art Photographs this time around with a post from Robin Ling of Home James Media, a photographer who takes images of landscapes and wildlife, taken predominantly around Lincolnshire:
Most of my friends call me Rob, I started developing an interest in photography about 20 years ago in my late teens and this flourished into a serious hobby over the last 7 years.
After having some success in local amateur photographic competitions I experimented with semi-professional photography work, choosing the name ‘Home James Media’ after the birth of my eldest son named James.
I finally arrived in the niche of landscape and nature photography in late 2017 when I realised that combining my love of the outdoors with my passion for photography was achieving results that people were interested in hanging on their walls. It was then I decided to start in the business of professional Landscape photography, producing fine art prints for sale.
I’ve been trading since April 2018 and stocking prints at Messingham Zoo since shortly after that.
Iain and Alex at the Zoo have been my friends for many years and we met through our shared interest in photography at local evening classes run by the WEA. We are also members of North Lincs Camera Club, who meet at Brigg Servicemens Club every other Thursday.
A selected number of my prints are for sale currently at Messingham Zoo in the Gift Shop and if you’re there please feel free to have a browse. Most of the prints available there are of animals and wildlife taken around Lincolnshire.
These 6 images are available as 10×8″ Mounted Prints for £8 each while stocks last
The following 2 images are available as 20×16″ Canvas Prints that are ready to hang. These are available £35 each.
I also have an online e-commerce website where you can buy these images in different sizes along with a wide range of other photographs. You can even contact me through the site if you have a particular commission in mind. The site also houses my blog where I talk about Landscape photography trips, techniques, gear and more.

I’d like to thank you all for taking the time to read about me and my business and I hope you will take a look at the selection of prints I have for sale at Messingham Zoo and I look forward to being offered the opportunity to write another guest post for you soon.
